Kohl’s is currently hiring Loss Prevention Service Specialist!
Responsibilities will include:
- Works to promote customer service in the store by implementing the Company’s “Smile and Say Hi” initiatives and helping customers with their needs
- Works at store entrances to provide customer service, solicit credit applications/email, and monitor for suspicious activity
- Works in the “center core” area of the store. While there, engage customers and be a visible deterrent to theft. Will NOT make shoplifting apprehensions. May assist the Loss Prevention Associates, as necessary.
- Assist in the implementing and monitoring of Company center core initiatives, including operational controls in jewelry and associate awareness touch bases
- Monitor Associate and Customer activities at Point of Sale. Identify and communicate issues concerning time in line, line item discounts, cash pick-ups and counterfeit cash/checks
- Monitor center core fitting rooms. Assist customers. Communicate recovery issues. Deter obvious theft situations
- Monitor compliance with the Company Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program. This will include tagging compliance, POS awareness and alarm response
- Promote a Neat and Clean store appearance at the entrance.
- Conducts building and physical security inspections to minimize exposure to loss.
- Promotes a safe environment for associates and customers and responds to emergency situations
Job Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Maintains attendance according to Company standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Works well with fellow associates, supervisors and customers
- Maintains high Ethical Standards and adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Maintains standards of appearance by following the required Company dress code
- Ability to participate in physical activities, including walking, lifting and climbing on a regular basis.
- Experience in a Customer Service environment
