Customer Service Representative

We're currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for a contract opportunity in Anchorage, AK with our partner, one of the nation's leading providers of health care, dental, pharmacy, group life, and disability insurance, and employee benefits. This is a 3 month contract with an opportunity for a permanent position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Handle customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, Internet or written correspondence. Customer inquiries are of basic and routine nature.
• Answer questions and resolves issues based on phone calls/letters from members, providers, and plan sponsors.
• Triage resulting rework to appropriate staff.
• Document and tracks contacts with members, providers and plan sponsors.
• Explain member's rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract.
• Educate providers on our self-service options.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Must be able to multi-task to accomplish workload efficiently, have strong analytical skills and is able to maintain accuracy and production standards.
• Must enjoy working in a fast pace environment and easily adapt to change.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
