Seasonal Recruiter

Staff Management | SMX is a leading provider of custom designed staffing solutions for Fortune 500 companies throughout the country. We have a great opportunity for a seasonal full-time Recruiter at Staff Management | SMX near Columbia, South Carolina.

The Seasonal Recruiter collaborates with the Recruiting Manager to manage the peak season recruiting activities of the account and to ensure peak recruiting goals are met. The responsibilities will include, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, order filling, and orienting the associate workforce according to defined process standards, and utilizing effective interview methods to ensure the hiring of competent associates.

The right applicant will have excellent customer service skills to provide a great candidate experience for the potential warehouse associates. They will follow the standard processes and procedures provided during training, and they will make consistent and fair evaluations of the potential candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Process full cycle recruiting on potential candidates (from interviewing to conducting orientations, submitting background checks and drug tests, and filling orders).
• Create new employee files.
• Identify resolution to issues and take actions and able to work in a fast paced environment.

This position will require 40 hours per week, through early December, dependent upon our client's volume and needs. Compensation is $12/hour.

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior recruitment experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Leadership abilities, initiative and ability to learn in a fast paced environment.
• Computer Skills (Excel).
• Excellent oral communication skills.
