We are currently hiring for a warehouse packaging position for an upcoming project in Des Moines, IA. This is an outstanding entry level opportunity with a reputable refrigeration service company.
Job Description:
Packaging of production a refrigerated warehouse environment.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Defrosting, moving, and boxing of refrigerated product. Willing to work in a cold environment.
- Excellent communication skills, basic reading, writing and math skills.
- Technical skills – able to handle consistent heavy lifting , working extended shift hours when required and strong organizational skills. .
- Teamwork – Exhibits objectivity/openness to others’ ideas and try new things.
- Ethics – Works with integrity , must be able to pass Spartan Staffing assessments, work history that is verifiable.
- Organizational Support – Follows policies and procedures, safety awareness, ability to work in very cold environment at a fast pace, must wear safety equipment safety glasses and steel toe boots.
- Willing to submit to a drug screen and back ground check.
Pay range : $8.00 per hour
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday. Shift typically starts at 8:00 am to 4:30 pm ,
