We have current openings for Machine Operators in the Brooksville, FL area! This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity!
Job Description:
- Operate, set-up and maintain assembly machines and equipment used to produce various production assemblies
- Operate SMT, wave & solder machines, auto insertion, component prep, wire cutting machines, blender machine, mixer machine, VSF extruder, Megomat, and other automated or semi-automated equipment
- Monitor scrap rates and identify potential component waste
- Ensure product integrity and operator safety by adhering to precise instructions
- Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot functional problems with equipment and make minor adjustments as required
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions
- Ability to add and subtract whole numbers, fractions and decimals using direct reading, gauges, rulers and scales
- Must be quality conscious and possess ability to meet production and quality standards
- Must maintain ESD Precautions Standards certification in areas/facilities where required
- May be required to pass solder training class to operate certain pieces of equipment.
- May be required to have previous experience with hand tool operation
- Background check and drug screening required
Ideal Candidates:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Committed to safety at all times
- Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $11/hr+ based on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday with possible mandatory weekends
