Sales and Collections Associate
General Summary
As a Rimtyme Sales and Collections Associate you will be responsible for renting and selling custom
wheel and tire packages, explaining rental agreements and collecting past due accounts from our customers. A key priority will be managing customer accounts under the direction of both your store
manager and assistant manager.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greets and assist all customers in a positive, approachable manner. Answers questions and resolves customer concerns or problems.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards
- Assist customers with their wheel and tire needs and rents or sales these products to customers.
- Receives customer payments and post them properly in Rimtyme’s computer system per
established policies, procedures and practices.
- Prepares Rental Agreement paperwork and thoroughly explains our Agreement to customers so that misunderstandings are avoided.
- Makes daily phone calls to all past due customers in order to bring accounts current.
- If needed visits customers at their residence to bring accounts current or to return past due merchandise.
Position Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years job experience in customer service related field.
Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs. from floor to above waist high, must be able
to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting with or without accommodation.
License Requirement: Must have a valid Drivers License in sufficient standing with legal authorities to allow driver to be insured while driving Rimtyme vehicles.
Other Preferred Skills: Automotive, Retail, Installation and Repair, Mechanic.
