We are currently hiring for a Trim Carpenter position for an upcoming project in Des Moines, IA. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a reputable company. 

Job Description:

 Finish carpentry job task  Basic carpenter finisher need both experienced and inexperience.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2-3 minimum years of demonstrated carpentry experience, trim  carpentry experience preferred. The ability to read and interpret documents and follow instructions, lift up to 50 lbs repetitively during an 8 hour shift.
• Excellent attendance, dependable transportation as there is not public transportation/bus line available in area.
• Technical skills – able to handle power tools , working extended shift hours when required and strong organizational skills. .Basic math abilities add, substract, multiply and divide units of measure. Physically able to stand for long periods of time Stoop, kneel, crawl and crouch. Good Vision - close and distance, color and depth perception vision.  

•  Teamwork – Exhibits objectivity/openness to others’ ideas and try new things. Can work in all elements.

• Ethics – Works with integrity , must be able to pass Spartan Staffing assessments, work history that is verifiable.
• Organizational Support – Follows policies and procedures, safety awareness, works within established safety practices on the job, must wear safety equipment safety glasses and steel toe boots.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen.

Pay range : $10.00 to $20.00 per hour 

Shift/Hours:  Monday - Friday.  1st Shift
