About this job
Administers theft prevention program for the store. Develops and implements store awareness programs addressing theft, safety and inventory control. Monitors store’s compliance with company policies and procedures on theft prevention, safety and inventory control. Directs workflow and supervises Loss Prevention Officers. Orients and trains new Loss Prevention Officers. Prior to store opening, assists with hiring of part-time Associates.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior supervisory experience in retail Loss Prevention required. Knowledge of surveillance and apprehension techniques. Demonstrated ability to make decisions in stressful situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic math and reading skills. Legible handwriting. Must be comfortable walking or standing during entire shift. Able to perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, reaching) on a frequent basis. Capable of detaining theft suspects. Must be available Sunday-Saturday for 8-hour shifts anytime from 6 a.m.-12:30 a.m.
