Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
(Include minimum education, experience, and specific skills required to perform Primary Responsibilities.)
• Pass a random drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• On-going training/meetings.
• Working cell or home telephone at all times.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
• Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with the client in a friendly and congenial manner.
• Ability to communicate with office/on-call staff to ensure that service expectations are met.
Special Requirements
• Must have your own vehicle, please note that public transportation is not acceptable.
• Ability to adapt to various individual living environments and locations.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing,
pulling, stair climbing, and carrying.
• Ability to withstand periodic contact with dog and cat hair, dust, mold,
mildew and cleaning solutions.

- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
