We are currently hiring for an Sewing Machine Operator II position in Kansas City KS. This is an outstanding  temp to hire opportunity with a reputable manufacturing company.

Job Description:

The position is responsible for sewing socks produced on the circular knitting machines. Six months to 1 year of sewing experience is required.

- Surges the trim in colored thread and inserts label on all socks

- Cuts and sews compressogrip sleeves, shrinkers, humeral, ulna's

- Presews socks prior to fleecing

- Cuts split in pelvic socks/Cuts yardage to be washed / All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 6 months to 1 year of sewing experience required. 
• Technical skills – seeing general, perception, heating/listening, reading and writing, clear speech - simple memorization.    
• Must be able to multi task, and pay attention to detail. Physically able to stand, walk, lift, push, carry kneel, bend, balance, sit, reach, touch, have flexibility in upper and lower body. able to perform repetitive motions.
• Excellent attendance required, dependable transportation
• Oral communication – Speaks clearly and listens attentively. Bilingual a plus.
• Teamwork – Exhibits objectivity/openness to others’ ideas and try new things , can work alone as well as in a team. Professionally friendly face to face with others,
• Ethics – Works with integrity, job history is verifiable 
• Organizational Support – Follows policies and procedures, safety awareness. Ability to work in all temperatures, noise and noise vibrating environments, exposure to dirt and dust

Shift/Hours:  Day Shift  Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
