Description
NHDP is looking for dedicated STNA's (State Tested Nursing Assistants) to promote the independence and quality of life for our individuals by providing a comfortable living environment. We seek helpful and detail oriented people to complete duties and enhance individual's skills within the home and community. Conflict resolution, assessment and problem-solving skills are necessary, as well as accurate completion of required documentation / paperwork.
STNA professionals ensure the health and safety of those we serve in addition to providing support services which include, but not limited to: assisting in maintaining a clean and safe living environment, meal preparation, completion of various household tasks, personal skill development, personal care assistance, companionship and transportation services for personal appointments and community outings.
Due to the nature of these services, you must be highly reliable and professional. Only those with a true passion in this field, to assist and work with others, need apply.
Those who have prior experience in behavioral health, mental health, social work and/or direct care preferred.
Requirements:
Be licensed as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), in Ohio.
Must be 18 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License in good standing (no more than 5 citation points)
Reliable vehicle, auto insurance and willingness to use for transportation
CPR/First Aid and/or Medication Administration Certification preferred
Successful completion of BCI/FBI background and Pre-employment Drug Test
Hourly compensation is based on experience.
