Truss Assembly

We work hard to find the job that's right for you.  We are currently hiring Truss Builders for an upcoming project in Longmont, CO area. Our customer is seeking candidates to help build wooden trusses and walls for new and commercial construction . These are long temporary positions working, Monday –Friday some Saturdays, first shifts 4 am to 3:30 pm and 3rd shift 4 pm to 2:30 am .Overtime will be available with 50 to 65 hours per work week. The pay range is $10.50 to $11.00 per hour.

Job Duties:

-Truss and wall assembly and fabrication.  Look at blue prints, gather pieces needed for truss, be accurate when measuring and placing studs.  Using hand power tools, hammer and tape measures.

     General labor to include: moving materials weighing  and lifting  a minimum of 50 lbs, and  removal of construction debris. Agile and able to climb on top of assembly table to staple trusses repeatedly during a shift.

- Carpentry, Framing up wood trusses and walls

- Construction clean up as needed to include sweeping and mopping, keeping site clear of trash

Job Requirements:

Qualified candidates MUST have the following:

-High School Diploma or GED - Manufacturing/Construction/Carpentry/Assembly experience needed

 -Excellent attendance required, dependable, good work ethic, looking for employees that want to learn a new trade that are energetic and willing to work hard. Overtime also available.

-Physically able walk, bend, squat  and lift 50 lbs repeatedly during a 8 hour shift, and work in all weather conditions. No heavy lifting involved.

-Able to multitask and works well in a team environment, respects authority

- Must be able to have own basic tools, ( hammer, tape measure, tool pouch/hammer sling)

- Must follow safety regulations and wear proper safety equipment (safety glasses, hard hat, steel toed boots, and safety vest, work gloves.)

- Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
