Labor Ready is seeking candidates for a Manufacturing - Accessory Installer in the Normal, IL area. Our customer is a leading manufacture of auto/accessories. This is a Temporary position on 1st and 2nd shifts, possibly 6 days per week Monday –Friday some weekends ( 10 hour shifts). The pay rate is $8.25 per hour. Opportunity for permanent hire with full benefits package offered when hired on. Job Duties:
Installing leather on car seats, accessories, LED lights, navigation systems, back up systems on new vehicles. Must have basic knowledge of how to use hand and power tools along with basic knowledge of automobiles. Some driving and parking of new cars may be required- need to be able to drive a stick shift. Some work will be outside.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates MUST have the following:
-Must have, experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have valid drivers license and 3 years clean Motor Vehicle report
-Excellent attendance required, dependable transportation, good work ethic
-Physically able to , stand, walk, bend, push/pull, kneel and lift 50 lbs repeatedly during a 8 hour shift
-Able to multitask and works well in a team environment, respects authority
- Must follow safety regulations and wear proper safety equipment (safety glasses, hard hat, steel toed boots, and safety vest, work gloves. as necessary)
- Willing to work overtime and business demands
- Willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug Screen
