Labor Ready  is currently hiring General Laborers for an upcoming projects in Leroy, McLean, Armington, Funks Grove, and Heyworth, IL. Our customer is seeking workers that are familiar with working with livestock. This is a temp position ,working 7 days a week on 1st/2nd shifts, Monday –Friday. The pay rate is $10.00 per hour. Best candidates will reside in the following: 61752,61754,61721,61704,61745,61754,61772,61774, and 61778

Job Duties:
- Worker could be doing multiple job duties which include: sorting pigs, loading/unloading pigs from semis, power washing, empty bars, pulling out deceased pigs from pens.

Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates MUST have the following:
- 1 years preferred job experience with, working with livestock ranging in size from newborn to full grown.
- Able to work all day in environment with the smell inside a livestock confinement.
- Physically able to stand, bend, walk, push/pull and lift 80 lbs, handle dead and alive livestock
- Values a teamwork environment but respects authority with an up beat personality, dependable, self motivated to arrive to work on time (15 min before shift starts)
- Quality conscious, good work ethic
- Safety conscious and wears proper safety equipment ( must have steel toe boots ,safety glasses)
- Willing to submit to a background check
