Distribution Center Specialist - Full-time

POSITION OBJECTIVE 

Effectively lead a team of individuals to efficiently carry out the timely and accurate receipt and / or processing of merchandise for store delivery. 

POSITION DUTIES 

• Ÿ  Resolve any issues or problems related to computer systems.
• Ÿ  Oversee the accuracy and completion of all department functions, including paperwork and computer work.
• Ÿ  Play a key role in the answering of questions and have a strong attention to detail.
• Ÿ  In the absence of the Supervisor, are required to address Associates not working.
• Ÿ  Effective communication of all issues that may affect the flow of merchandise.
• Ÿ  Partnering with fellow departments and customers as needed.
• Ÿ  Achieve established production goals for Accuracy, UPH and Service level.
• Ÿ  Assist in processing of merchandise as needed.
• Ÿ  Perform various other functions as requested.
• Ÿ  Ensure that all Associates are operating within the guidelines of Company policies and procedures and report any infraction.
• Ÿ  Complete all assigned training.
• Ÿ  Meet all Company standards.
• Ÿ  Take on additional responsibilities when business dictates. 

POSTION REQUIREMENTS 

• Ÿ  High School Diploma / GED preferred
• Ÿ  Must have strong computer skills.
• Ÿ  Strong organizational, communication, problem solving and coordination skills.
• Ÿ  Ability to work independently and give direction to staff.
• Ÿ  Maintain a clean / safe work environment.
• Ÿ  Maintain a professional work ethic and confidentiality.
• Ÿ  The ability to remain flexible within a fast-paced, high volume and dynamic environment.
• Ÿ  Dependability 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

• ŸReaching, bending, lifting and carrying required for movement of merchandise. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.  Climb ladders, push and pull merchandise buckets, and or pallets.
• Standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written direction.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Operate various equipment requiring manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination (ticket gun, RF gun, pallet jack, calculator, computer keyboard etc.)

Multiple Positions / Shifts Available

• 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
• 11:30 am – 8:00 pm
