Job Purpose Statement:
To welcome guests and describe various options available to them while encouraging guests to partake in the full tour and tasting program. To guide guests on tours through the winery and assist with wine tastings and retail sales.
Job Functions:

Welcome guests and describe tour and tasting options available to them, collect money for tours; provide each guest with a color coded lapel button, instruct guests regarding the time and place for start of the tour and introduce to tour guides.

Conduct tours for guests throughout the Winery; describe the various building elements that make the Winery unique and review the various programs used in the winemaking process.

Inform the Wine Steward of the number of guests within a tour and help prepare the tasting bar.

Assist the Wine Steward in the pouring and presentation of the wines at the conclusion of the tour

Assist guests with finding desired wines and/or merchandise for purchase; fill and package wines for guests.

Assist guests by carrying to their cars cases of wine that have been purchased; assist with restocking wines and merchandise.

Act as Junior Wine Steward as needed.

Assist as needed with special programs at the Winery such as barrel club programs, pairing dinners and other special events, and as requested, attend wine festivals or other events.

Consistently exhibit the actions/behaviors which best demonstrate BNE's Vision and Values; perform other tasks as directed by management; and at all times represent Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc., as a professional in every aspect of performance.
