Pediatric Operating Room Nurse - (Peds OR RN - Pedi OR RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 10 D Pay Rate: $34.00 *
This Pedi Operating Room (OR) unit boasts the latest in advanced technology housed within a caring and effective patient care model. This unit is looking for an experienced and well-regarded Operating Room (OR) RN to join their dynamic team of caregivers.
The role of the pediatric operating room nurse (Pedi OR RN) is to provide care for patients ranging from neonatal/infancy to young adulthood before, during, and after surgical procedures. Pedi OR nurses are typically either circulating nurses (working within the operating room but outside of the sterile field) or scrub nurses (handling items and tools used in the sterile field as well as making preparations for surgery). Specialties of pediatric OR nurses include craniofacial/plastics; ear, nose, and throat (ENT); neurology; ophthalmology; orthopedics; transplant; trauma; urology; vascular; and general surgery.
Required Qualifications
1. WA license (active)
2. Scrub and circulator
3. Spines, Ortho and Epidural care
4. Exp with Peds population
