Mechanical Assemblers

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is hiring Mechanical Assemblers for a valued client in the greater Madison area.  Ideal candidates will have experience working in a production or manufacturing setting. For consideration please send resumes to briana.walsh@remedystaff.com

Responsibilities:

Production assemblers assemble products according to verbal or written instructions, following drawings, or diagrams and will comprehend tasks in short order with minimum training and supervision. Specific duties are as follows:

• Reads work order, drawings or other instructions to secure and position components and materials
• Checks products to reject defective items, packs into boxes and stacks onto pallets
• Carries out quality control procedures, undertakes inventory procedures, packs materials and places in storage, as needed including maintenance of proper inspection and test documents
• Work as a team member specific jobs
• Dismantles, cleans, inspects, and assemblies parts
• Follows all safety procedures

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be able to stand throughout 8-hour shift
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs regularly throughout shift
• Previous assembly experience preferred
