Chemical Process Operator

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking third shift Chemical Processor Operators for a valued customer of ours. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. If you have experience with heavy equipment or working knowledge of chemicals apply now!

Job Duties May Include:
•Fill out the regulatory paperwork, inspections, and checklists as assigned meeting the intent of the regulations
•Observe safety precautions to prevent fires or explosions
•Move control settings to make necessary adjustments on equipment units affecting speeds of chemical reactions, quality, or yields
•Perform auxiliary tasks such as tank transfers, bulk truck or railcar loading/unloading, container emptying and filling, dumping bags, sampling, etc.
•Fill out all vessel batch logs, reports, manifests, check sheets, etc. as assigned
•Monitor recording instruments, flowmeters, panel lights, or other indicators and listen for warning signals, to verify conformity of process conditions
•Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines, using panelboards, control boards, or semi-automatic equipment
•Record operating data, such as process conditions, test results, or instrument readings
•Measure, weigh, and mix chemical ingredients, according to specifications
•Move materials to assigned areas

Skills/Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•Ability to operate forklifts
•Experience working with and mixing chemicals
•Able to climb ladders and work at heights up to 50 feet on occasion.
•Ability to lift 75 lbs
•Basic computer skills
•Great communication skills
