Candidates must be highly conscious and adhere to all safety, company operational policies, production efficiencies and quality standards.
JOB DUTIES:
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Receive products
- Utilize electronic scanning equipment
- Move products using fork lifts and pallet jacks
- Pick, cut and pack customer orders
- Troubleshoot problems to resolution
- Understand and abide to all aspects of production requirements
- Understand and adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards
- Work with powered equipment such as battery operated shears used to cut
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Stand or walk during shifts from 8-12 hours long
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Push and pull product up to 50 pounds for shift 8-12 hours long
- Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work with/around moving mechanical parts
- Noise level varies and can be loud
- Variant temperature in warehouse based upon outside conditions. Not climate controlled.
- Working nights, weekends and/or Holidays as required
- Overtime is often required on short notice and is required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School education or GED equivalent
- Read/Write English Fluently
- 18 yrs of age or older
- Drug screen
- I9 Verification
- Criminal Background check
- Written customer service test
- Paid classroom orientation
PREFERRED QUALICATIONS:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good decision making, problem solving and follow through skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to work in an "internet speed" environment
- Ability to work overtime as required
