Summary of Position:
Maintain outstanding customer service as per company standards. Operate a cash register and process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently.
Duties Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a positive attitude. Give full attention and understanding to the customers order.
Count money in cash drawers at beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Receive payment by cash, credit cards and gift cards.
Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers.
Maintain clean and orderly register areas.
Complete knowledge of menu and pricing.
Answer phone and take customer order.
Resolve customer complaints.
Answer customer questions and provide accurate information on procedures and policies.
Restock shelves as needed.
Relay messages to the dish-out line as needed.
Pack customer orders.
Call out customer order number.
Thank guests when pick up order.
Any other tasks as assigned by manager.
Follow handwash policy.
Qualifications:
No previous restaurant experience required.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
Must have neat appearance.
Ability to work varied hours.
Basic reading, writing and math.
