Your ability to find the best of the best has a direct impact on the bottom-line, making you part of the revenue generating motor. You’ll be part of our expanding Talent Acquisition team. We’re a small, yet diverse and driven group. We joke with each other often, but know when we need to get serious and make our impact on the company. One of the best aspects of our team is the constant desire to better our output by improving our metrics, coming up with a game changing idea, or simply providing an outstanding candidate and internal client hiring experience. We have benchmarked metrics to enhance our performance. We don’t sit idle with that data, but instead use it to create impactful strategies that help make us the best recruiting team in our industry… and yes, we really do believe we’re the best!

Now that you’re sold on the opportunity (obviously), here are some things you should know:

  1. Part-Time: The ideal candidate is looking for a part-time opportunity. We're flexible on you working between 20-30 hours a week. We would hope that you're flexible with us too! If you have the ability to work a full time week here and there as larger needs arise, that would be great, but its absolutely not required. 
  2. What will you do? You will strategically source, screen, and submit fantastic candidates, both passive and active. All of your actions and notes are tracked in our ATS that we keep well updated to ensure accurate data. You will consult with Hiring Managers as well as the TA team to provide a second to none hiring experience. At Cumming, YOU are the Recruiting Expert. We will depend on your knowledge and ability to ensure the firm continues to hire top talent from all over the world. You’ll assist in creating relationships and occasionally visiting various Universities for recruiting events. We headhunt here, so you shouldn’t be afraid of picking up the phone and calling people you don’t know!
  3. What are we looking for? First and foremost, we need a rockstar Recruiter – someone that that creates fantastic relationships with their internal clients and Hiring Managers. You have a knack for reading between the lines. You will hit the ground running by performing full-cycle recruiting quickly and accurately. You need to have a college degree and at least 2-5 years of experience as a Recruiter or Sourcer. It matters that while you may like to have fun and joke around (as we do), you still have the ability to be mature when it matters and serious when it matters the most.  You should be pretty good on Excel, Word, and various other programs. Last, we’re open to those coming from a 3rdparty staffing firm as well as corporate or internal recruiting teams.
  4. The “nice to haves”: It would be a huge plus if you have some AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) recruiting/sourcing experience.  You should have experience working within an ATS, but if you’re fantastic, I think we could overlook that. We would like you to be flexible by occasionally traveling to other offices or career fairs. Extra points go to those who know how to utilize social media to enhance their recruiting abilities as well as those who understand recruiting metrics!
