We are currently hiring experienced Robotic Welder in the Fountain Inn area for a reputable company.

Job Description:

Operates conventional Robotic Weld Cell to fabricate metallic parts or assemblies

Apply basic knowledge of welding theory and procedures and basic mathematics

Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, and materials on welding machines or worktables as required.

Calculate and set controls to regulate machine factors, such as wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, type of gas, and type of weld rod.

Operates and observes robot to detect malfunctions or non-conforming conditions.

Operates welding robot on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data

Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly, using jigs, fixtures, surface plate, surface table, and hand tools.

Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications

Visually inspects to maintain quality records with minimum supervision.

Maintains accurate counts of parts; attaches labels or tags to finished part containers identifying customer, part number, quantity, and shop order information.

Communicates with co-workers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate job activities.

Follows all safety procedures and wears safety equipment or apparel as required.

Performs all job functions to meet acceptable quality and performance standards.

Cleans equipment, tooling and area around workstation on a daily basis.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED

Minimum 1 year of manufacturing environment

1+ years of operating a welding robot is desired.

Candidates must be willing to submit to a formal background check and drug screen

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour

Shift/Hours: 2nd shift and 3rd shift available with overtime
