Position: Loss Prevention Supervisor 2nd shift

Position Summary:

The Loss Prevention Supervisor, reporting to the Loss Prevention Manager, will be responsible for minimizing the financial losses of a retail operation related to theft, vandalism, accident and injury. The Loss Prevention Supervisor will proactively identify security violations and potential safety issues. This person is expected to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with Associates and Management Team. The Loss Prevention Supervisor must work with discretion and professionalism, and maintain confidentiality at all times. Loss Preventions Supervisor must also possess ability to influence and execute programs at a high level with little supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism.
  • Ensures the facility maintains regulatory compliance and addresses deficiencies.
  • Oversee the training for the facility on safety and loss prevention policies and procedures, to include new hire training, annual refresher training and retraining for existing staff.
  • Train and supervise third party guard staff.
  • Oversee security and loss prevention processes including key control, access control, burglar and fire alarm systems and CCTV camera system.
  • Investigate and resolve theft cases including interviewing suspects.
  • Supervise the auditing process.
  • Partner with the Human Resources Department in Employee Separation Process
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
