Job Summary
Answers inbound telephone calls; collect and documents demographic information of callers, and conducts initial screening of patient signs & symptoms, to support operations of the Clinical Communications Center (CCC). Performs general administrative duties as needed.

Essential Functions
1. Answers inbound telephone calls; responds to incoming faxes.
1. Screens inbound calls for emergency disposition per established protocols, including securing and documenting patient demographics, physician information, and any medical signs & symptoms pertinent to the call.
2. Documents phone call information in designated computer software application, in timely and accurate manner.
3. Relays information to RN Triage Nurses or department management as required.
4. Ensures security and protection of all confidential information.
5. Performs general administrative duties including, but not limited to, monitoring & ordering office supplies, filing, faxing, preparing documents for mailing, taking & transcribing minutes from meetings, etc.
6. Maintains positive working relations with patients, physicians, and customers.
7. Performs all job functions with integrity. Provides timely internal and external customer service in cooperative, professional and respectful manner.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required
1+ years performing same or similar responsibilities. Relevant experience includes: customer service or general office support experience in any industry


Shift/Compensation:
5 days a week 3rd shift 11pm-7am
Pay $13 per hour with weekly pay/plus health benefits
