We are currently hiring experienced Customer Service Rep in Walkerton, IN. This is an outstanding opportunity with a reputable company!

 

Job Description:

 

  • Receive, research, and answer customer inquiries and requests regarding accounts, products, and services offered as well as analyze information from various sources to resolve customer issues within level of authority.
  • Assure the accurate input of information necessary to generate a customer order by compiling booking information, along with developing necessary data to identify all roller specifications including function, compound and tolerances, etc.  Resolve informational issues arising from order entry and booking processes by contacting necessary sources:  sales, customer, and manufacturing.
  • Update and validate supporting database of information to maintain integrity of:  customer equipment record, customer history file, blueprint file and other related records.
  • Ensure truck run schedules are established to meet customer needs. 
  • Negotiate expedite requests with Plant Manager when customer situation necessitates a change in schedule.
  • Initiate outside vendor estimates for cores, grooving, balancing, etc., through the Purchasing Department.
  • Take initial request from field sales representatives/managers and customers.  Review Customer Equipment Record (CER) for current pricing status of customer/rollers. 

 

 

  • Interpret blueprints and, when necessary, obtain further detailed information from Engineering, Research and Development (R&D), Product Managers, etc. and any other available resources.

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Good Data Entry skills
  • Experience filing by alphanumeric and numeric
  • Knowledge of Industrial products
  • Experience with an ERP system such as Syteline
  • Able to think on your feet and have good listening skills

 

 

Ideal Candidates:

  • 1-3 years experience preferred
  • Committed to safety at all times
  • Excellent attendance

           

 

Pay Rate: $15-17 hour   

Shift/Hours: 8a-4:30pm Monday - Friday
