Cashiers - Full-time / Part-time

Cashier

Summary:

The Cashier is responsible for completing sales transactions within the establishment and performing other support functions which may include cleaning the food, display and/or stock areas and assisting with stocking activities; performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management.

Essential Functions:

• Greet guests
• Have knowledge of Menu
• Help guests select food by presenting menu
• Enter orders on register
• Serve food to guests
• Answer phone and take to go / catering orders
• Operate credit card machine
• Ensure counter is clean
• Ensure beverage station is clean and stocked
• Other items as instructed by Management

Requirements:

• Stand, reach, kneel, stoop and climb
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Push, pull and lift items weighing 25 lbs
• Manual dexterity
• Must be able to work flexible hours / days
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Prior restaurant experience a plus
