Pet Care Technician

Position Overview: Pet care technicians are responsible for the overall well being of all daycare dogs as well as boarding dogs. A PCTs primary role is to ensure the safety of all dogs while playing in the daycare as well as maintaining cleanliness standards in the daycare, boarding room, and feeding room. Essential Job Functions

*Supervising dogs in the daycare to ensure safe play at all times Keeping daycare clean throughout the day

*Cleaning the kennels in the boarding room as needed each day

*Ensure each dog is fed according to their daily schedule

*Dispense daily medication to dogs as needed

*Being alert to each dogs physical and mental well being and keeping management advised of any changes

Requirements:

*Must be at least 18 years old

*Must be physically able to perform job duties as described above  

*Must be able to communicate clearly

*Must be able to multitask Must be a self starter/self motivator Must be able to work with minimal direction

*Must be able to give clear concise direction as needed.

NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Position shifts are as follows (but not limited to): 6:00AM - 3:00PM 9:00AM - 5:00PM 3:00PM - 8:30PM Applicant should be available to work any of those shifts.
