DISPATCHER / SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR
Integrative Staffing Group is seeking a dispatcher/shipping & receiving coordinator for a client located in Lorain, Ohio. Our client is a supplier of engineered seat frames to the automotive market. The company is growing and needs to add a Dispatcher/Shipping & Receiving Coordinator position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Plans equipment and manpower for freight operations by assigning OTR drivers to loads.
2) Observes and implements DOT regulations.
3) Works with customers regarding delivery times.
4) Ensures fleet is ready for operation.
5) Assists Traffic and Materials Managers as needed including after hours availability.
6) Approves repairs on road if necessary.
7) Completes timecards and vacations.
8) Yard and storage trailer management.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) 2-5 years of experience in distribution, freight, or logistics.
2) Experience with customs paperwork.
