Journeymen Drywallers Job Description

• Cutting, measuring, and installing drywall and components to metal stud framing

• Reading blueprints or other specifications to determine methods of installation, work procedures, or material or tool requirements

• Assembling or installing metal framing or decorative trim for windows, doorways, or vents

• Cutting and screwing together metal channels to make floor or ceiling frames, according to plans

Job Requirements

• Know mud and sanding applications

• Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints

• Reliable transportation

• Tools of your trade

• Verifiable references

Ideal Candidates

• Experience preferred
