Apprentice Welder Job Description
• Unloading and bringing materials to the jobsite
• Setting up welding leads and grounds
• Using power or hand tools to brush and grind welds and prep weld surfaces
• Measuring and cutting weld material to desired lengths with a torch or electric saw
• Assisting Journey-level welder in putting pipe/plate/structure in place to be welded
Job Requirements
• Must be able to follow the directions of the Journey-level welder
• Reliable transportation
• Tools of your trade
• Verifiable resources
Ideal Candidates
• Experience preferred
• Committed to safety at all times
• Reliable attendance
Pay Rate: DOE
Shift/Hours: All shifts available
