Job Description
The brand-new Cambria Suites hotel, located in Downtown White Plains, NY, is seeking an experienced leader to manage the Food & Beverage operations of this 130-suite, modern, luxury hotel. As the leader of the department you will be responsible for the culinary and restaurant operations, associate training, and ensuring guest satisfaction while achieving revenue growth and profitability. This hotel has banquet/meeting space, room service, barista, and a full service restaurant and lounge. The overall objective is to maintain the standards of product quality to ensure the maximum comfort and satisfaction of hotel guests and employees in accordance with the policies and procedures established by the brand and hotel ownership.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years hotel Food and Beverage Manager.
- Must have working knowledge of kitchen operations, banquets and ala carte service.
- Candidate must have a culinary background as well as restaurant and banquet bar management.
- A positive personality, roll up the sleeves work ethic, and participative leadership.
Skills:
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast paced position with guest interaction
- Ability to train and lead others.
- Good technical and financial control skills.
- Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading, and writing. Bilingual a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, Internet, and purchasing software
- Must be able to multi-task
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others quickly
Availability: Must have schedule flexibility for both AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
