Maintenance Mechanics

Food Manufacturer seeking Experienced Maintenance Mechanics.

Duties/Responsibilities: You'll troubleshoot, maintain and repair conveyor, high-speed manufacturing and bakery equipment. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble complex mechanical equipment. Utilize machine shop equipment to repair or modify parts. Comply with all safety standards and regulations. Document and track all corrective and preventive maintenance performed. Adhere to all housekeeping/sanitation standards in and around work area.

Requirements include:

• A minimum of four (4) years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience required
• High speed production/packaging/manufacturing environment preferred
• trong working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyors, pumps, valves, gearboxes and packaging equipment
• Ability to read and interpret machine manuals/schematics, electrical blueprints/schematics and process control diagrams
• Machine shop skills (mill, lathe, drill press, etc.)
• Pipefitting and/or welding ability, a plus!
• Previous work history in food/beverage industry, a plus!

Shift Hours: Rotating weekend shift, if a person is off of work MON and TUES of this week, they will be off TUES and WED the following week and so on. This is to ensure maintenance is available at all times. Openings are primarily on 2nd and 3rd shift (2:30pm to 11:00pm and 10:30pm to 7:00am) Starting wage offered will be based on experience
