Assistant Manager

We have an immediate opening for a Assistant Manager.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is the largest BBQ franchise in the country with almost 400 locations, and Dickey’s is also the fastest growing quick serve restaurant in the country! The Dickey's team is rapidly expanding in the Northwest Arkansas market and is looking for experienced and highly motivated crew members and restaurant managers.

Dickey’s Barbecue pit is now hiring Assistant Managers.

The role of the Assistant Manager is to assist the general manager in running the day-to-day restaurant operations at the specified location. The ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:

• 3+ years experience as Assistant Manager or Shift Manager of a quick service restaurant
• Provides daily leadership and training for a lean yet productive crew
• Demonstrates the ability to make on-the-fly labor decisions to hit financial labor targets
• Trains staff members to minimize waste in food preparation
• Ability to assist the GM with vendor orders and delivery check-in
• Ability to perform basic administrative reporting tasks on Microsoft Office platform and Aloha POS system
• Effective customer service through catering order to delivery cycle
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills including transparency with general manager and franchise owner
• Personable with excellent customer service & training skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Be able to maintain and improve processes
• Ability to maintain Dickey’s core standards
• Possess a "Can-do" attitude and takes ownership
• Professional appearance
• Desire for future advancement to GM role
