Imagitas seeks a Senior Product Manager - Mobile Products

The Senior Product Manager of Mobile Products position resides within the Digital Commerce division of Pitney Bowes. Imagitas is an innovative life stage marketing services company with a proven strategy for reaching 40 million annual movers with the products and services that consumers and advertisers find most relevant.

This position is responsible for managing and growing our suite of mobile products and services with the goal of increasing user engagement and revenue. The position will work closely with the Development, Creative Services, Analytics and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution of the mobile strategy. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be located in our Waltham, MA location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Sketch wireframes for a new mobile app feature with UX designers.
  • Take advantage of the latest geofencing and location technologies to notify users of the best and most relevant offers.
  • Write user stories and load them into JIRA for the upcoming sprint. You will take pride in breaking these stories into viable chunks and writing with clarity.
  • Dig into analytics to understand when and why users are launching and using our app. And more importantly, why and when they're not. Then improve it.
  • Develop unique location-driven, highly personalized mobile experiences and monetization opportunities such as geo-targeted coupon notifications, and help pitch them to our retail partners.
  • Research the mobile payments & wallets landscape to understand how we might fit in to disrupt the mobile shopping experience.
  • Drive around town field testing our location services to understand exactly when and where we should be sending our user notifications, to have the most impact and relevance on the moving and shopping experience.

Qualification

Required Qualifications:
  • BS or BA in technology, business or related field.
  • 8+ years of consumer Internet and mobile product management or related experience.
  • Must have a grasp of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JS, Apple SDK, Android SDK, etc.) and a passion for new marketing technologies and services.
  • Experience with various online business models, strategies and tactics.
  • A mobile-first design attitude and an intuitive grasp of how different devices (mobile vs tablet vs desktop) impact user experience.
  • Experience designing simple and intuitive Mobile &Web user interfaces.
  • Must be able to demonstrate sound product management skills (analytical, business judgment, communication, product discipline) in addition to technical smarts.
  • Should have in-depth experience with GPS, LBS, and GIS and understanding how to leverage them to drive contextually relevant and timely communications to users.
  • Must have an understanding of a user's cross-device interactions and how location intelligence can drive relevance on mobile, desktop, and email.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Agile /Scrum experience as a Product Owner.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA preferred, but not required.
  • Startup experience preferred.
  • A strong desire to keep up with all things mobile. You are known as an avid mobile app user.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently, multi-task and drive products to completion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to smoothly shift from concepts to detailed execution.
  • You are a troubleshooter with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. You have experience applying these skills to resolve strategic questions, design considerations and technical issues.
  • Love working with designers and engineers.
