The primary responsibilities of the CNC Programmer are:
JOB DESCRIPTION
•Write and optimize CNC Programs to create complex parts on 3 axis machining centers
•Develop workholding and select cutting tools
•Create and compile necessary documents to aid setting up machines
•Write CNC programs for 2 axis lathes
•Integrate work with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Scheduling Departments to ensure a smooth flow of quality products through the factory
•Work to deadlines
JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Five years experience writing CNC programs in a machining environment
•Demonstrates proficiency with CAD (solid modeling) and software
•Demonstrates a professional and positive attitude as well as a passion for continuous improvements
•Demonstrates strong time management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects
•Aerospace experience a plus
