REGISTER ATTENDANT & GROUP SALES ASSISTANT - Full-time / Part-time

5 Wits at Patriot Place is looking for part-time front-of-house register attendants that can also assist our Group Sales department with booking group events. We are looking for candidates that are outgoing, have excellent phone skills and can provide exceptional customer service to all guests. This entry-level position is a great opportunity for individuals interested in gaining more experience in retail or in event planning. You will be responsible for taking calls, answering inquiries, scheduling events and operating a register and selling tickets to our shows. ABOUT 5 WITS 5 Wits' adventures allow guests to walk-through an incredible stage set and become the hero from their favorite movie or video game. Adventures are roughly 50 minutes long and require teamwork as a group works together to solve mental and physical challenges. Computer controlled lights, special effects, and a booming original score complete the experience and provide an adventure that can't be gotten anywhere else. Job Responsibilities Include -Providing consistent, exceptional customer service both in person and on the phone -Booking birthday parties, field trip adventures and corporate group outings -Cash handling, selling admission tickets, merchandise, food, and beverages -Conducting site tours to prospective clients -Preparing event itineraries and organizing and coordinating events -Communicating event details with other staff. -Working a flexible schedule that includes weekends Required/Preferred Skills -Dedication, enthusiasm and a sense of humor. -Excellent people skills. -Motivated and proactive, quick thinking, thrives in a fast paced environment. -Experience in Group Events and/or reservations preferred, but not required. -Experience with point of sale programs and/or event booking/reservation systems preferred. -Prior experience in retail sales, food/beverage, or entertainment industry preferred.
