Technical Operations Supervisor-Advanced Cable Contractors, Inc.

General Responsibilities:

Provide technical direction for Cable installation Operations so that the highest possible quality of pictures and service is maintained. Hire, train, evaluate, supervise and oversee work schedules of technical staff. You will be overseeing technicians using meters and other test equipment common to Telecommunication. The TOS, interfaces with the Managers and Dispatchers for daily work scheduling, issuing and completion, system maintenance and call escalations. The TOS is responsible for creating and implementing Key Indicator Reports for monitoring company performance. The TOS is responsible for regularly scheduling and meeting with Technical Field Operations personnel providing information, feedback, and support

Specific Responsibilities:

• Responsible for hiring, training, evaluating and supervising technical staff.

• Troubleshoot and insure repair of cable drop system from tap to set top device, make necessary adjustments and respond to customer inquiries.

• Insure compliance in all systems of CLI, FCC, and OSHA performance standards.

• All other duties as assigned or required.

 Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Prior Supervisor experienced in a technical field

• Requires demonstrated aptitude with mechanical and electrical disciplines.

• Valid driver’s license required; satisfactory driving record without major violations.

• Ability to work flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required. Willing to be on call for 24 hours / 7 days a week.

• High School diploma or Equivalent Required

• Must possess good written and oral communication skills.

• Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
