Do you have at least 4 years of recent administrative support experience? Are you professional and dependable? Randstad is looking to represent experienced Administrative Assistants. Our clients' industries include Financial Services, Government Agencies, Insurance, Marketing, and small business sectors, all in need of permanent and temporary support (both long- and short-term). Locations will vary but most positions are in Downtown Phoenix and the Central Corridor.
Typical Responsibilities include:
*Accepting, screening, and routing telephone calls
*Greeting and directing visitors, as appropriate, concerning activities and operations of department/division
*Arranging meetings and conferences, scheduling interviews and appointments, and performing other duties related to maintaining one or more individual schedules; coordinating travel arrangements
*Sorting, screening, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail; preparing photocopies and facsimiles, and operating a variety of office equipment. May be responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies
*Establishing, organizing, and maintaining files and records
*Managing correspondence (some of which may be confidential); proofreading, revising, and editing other materials for accuracy, thoroughness, and appropriateness
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8-5
General Qualifications:
*Ability to apply basic administrative skills to perform standardized duties (i.e., to create memos, reports, spreadsheets, exhibits for presentations, etc.)
*Knowledge of administrative procedures and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) - TESTING WILL BE REQUIRED
*Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required to help resolve routine problems
*Use of proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation when communicating, reviewing and/or editing documents for accuracy and completeness
*Able to handle and maintain confidential information
*High school diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of 4 years of administrative experience, which may include successful completion of an administrative assistant certificate program
