Position Summary:
The Barback enhances the guest experience by supporting the bartending team in ensuring that our bar drinks and bar service are exceptional. The Barback prepares mixes, syrups and garnishes, assists the bartender with maintaining the perfect bar atmosphere, cleanliness and product levels. The Barback must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, strictly adhere to all recipes and operational systems, exemplify excellence and be committed to upholding the standards of the company. As an integral part of a team, the Barback is responsible for continuously looking for ways to improve each guest’s experience.

Requirements and Working Conditions:

• One year experience preferred in a related position working in a high-volume, bar, restaurant or hotel.
• Strong English reading and communication skills.
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
• Ability to communicate and ask simple questions, read basic instructions, and carry out safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Ability to work in elevated temperatures and a wet environment.
• Continuous use of hands and arms.
• Continuous bending, reaching and twisting.
