  • Manage EZ Labor time sheets for missing punches.
  • Process payroll.
  • Submit weekly hours to Temp Agencies.
  • Distribute payroll on Wednesday.
  • Run HR reports and distribute to management.
  • Conduct new employee orientation, complete HR paperwork, issues badges, and prepare new employee files.
  • Track and administer benefits for new hires, open enrollment, qualifying events for health, dental, 401K, Colonial Life, vacation, and COBRA.
  • Maintenance of employee information.
  • Post open positions, review resumes, phone screening, and schedule interviews.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by management.
  • Maintain employee contact spreadsheet with new hires and change requests.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client, company and personnel information.
  • Liaison with Temp Agencies for temp help.
  • Employee relations, counseling, and answering employee requests.
  • Liaison with attorney for legal requirements and government regulations affecting human resource functions.
  • Advises management of appropriate resolution of employee relation issues.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Assists with the preparation of written warning notices and pay rate changes.
  • Assists with the processing employment terminations.
  • Maintain and track petty cash.
  • Coordinate and schedule company special events (Christmas party, open enrollment, 401K meetings, etc.)
  • Book travel arrangements.
  • Assist with the preparation of correspondence.
  • Answer phone line.
  • Point person for security coverage.
  • Preform Executive Assistant duties as needed.
  • Assist management with special projects.


Job Requirements

Three to five years experience in the Human Resources field preferred. Experience working in manufacturing or related field preferred. Strong communication skills necessary. Excellent computer skills, MS office, Word and Excel (spreadsheets knowledge required)
