Job Duties
- Positions parts in specified relationship to each other using general knowledge of product and/or using bills of materials.
- Bolts, screws, clips or otherwise fastens parts together.
- Works at different work stations as production needs require.
- Meets quality and productivity standards within a product line.
- Continually strives to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
- Maintains clean and safe working environment in accordance with 5S standards.
- Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved.
- Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Qualifications
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend assembly instructions.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates and percentages.
Physical strength and stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs.
