Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for: training; supervision; and working with all chef's staff in order to create quality food products; ensuring proper receiving; storage and rotation of food products; scheduling culinary staff with proper coverage; and adhering to control procedures for cost and quality. Requirements include: a thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes; proper preparation; and English language communication ability for completing requisitions, reading recipes and communicating with employees and managers.

Assign, coordinate, and supervise the set-up and food production areas within the service kitchen to maximize productivity and ensure food quality, set-up and service are in accordance with standardized recipes and procedures.


The Marriott Memphis East is a new hotel is located in the heart of East Memphis, only minutes away from upscale shopping and fine dining. This hotel will be most sought after property in Memphis. We have 231 guest rooms. All the guest rooms are wired for business, have flat screen TVs, personal docking stations and floor to ceiling windows. All three suites have common areas and private sleeping rooms. There is 9,395 square feet of flexible meeting space. The meeting space is located on both the first and second floor. The Junior Ballroom on the first floor is 1,774 square feet and can be divided into 3 sections. This is perfect for a wedding reception or corporate function. The Main Ballroom on the second floor is 3,916 square feet and can also be divided into 3 sections. It is Ideal for a meeting and lunch in separate room or a Holiday party. There are also 6 other smaller meeting rooms that can be used for breakout rooms, private meetings or hospitality room.
