About this job
We are looking for experienced Medical Coders to work in an outpatient specialty central business office. These positions will be long-term contracts with potential for permanent hire. Hours are Monday-Friday, 730am to 4pm either part-time or full-time hours available.
Duties would include HIGH VOLUME coding from radiology reports working specifically with radiology, respiratory, and possibly vascular procedure coding. Also assisting with preparation for ICD-10 implementation where needed. Orientation will be provided.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of general coding experience preferred
- CPC or RHIT preferred
- ICD-10 Certification preferred (will be expected to obtain if permanent hire)
- Radiology Coding preferred NOT required
- Vascular Coding preferred NOT required
