CORESTAFF Technology is currently looking to fill multiple Business Analysts roles with a customer in the downtown Chicago area. These are contract positions set to go through 2014 and will require occasional (10%) travel to the greater Atlanta area. Successful candidates will have 2-5 years of direct Business Analyst experience working in an Agile environment and have experience working with both technical, functional and outside stakeholers.
General Expectations
•Require candidates who have direct working experience as a Business Analyst.
•Require candidates who have at least 2-5 years of active professional experience with direct involvement in business analyst discipline.
•Along with hard skills in business analysis, candidates must be assertive and confident to analyze and communicate gaps and concerns to business members and technical team when working on business requirements.
•Candidates must have participated in JAD sessions or requirements gathering process and delivered BA artifacts.
oCandidate must be familiar with analysis models and artifacts such as the following: Role Based Matrix, Glossary, Context Diagram, ERD/Data Model, Class Model, Data Dictionary, State Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Business Rules, Decision Tables, Process Maps, Use Cases, and Activity Diagrams
oCandidate must be familiar with process analysis, process decomposition and elementary business process (EBP) definition
•Candidates are expected to elicit requirements, analyze complex flows and rules, present complex ideas in a simplified way, conduct discussions on business topics, challenge ideas, propose new ideas, recommend process improvement, conduct process modeling, and write up requirements in the required format as defined by the project team.
•Candidates must be proficient in the use of Microsoft tools like Excel, Word, Power point, and Visio. Candidates must have worked in Share Point environment for document management and versioning.
It is a PLUS if the candidates have the following experience:
oHave work experience in an Agile environment using tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS), Rally to create, maintain and manage the BA artifacts.
oElicit and construct user story authoring using Gherkin notations for BDD artifacts.
oFamiliar with technology concepts on RDBMS, SQL, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Web Application.
•Candidates must be able to work as a team with other business analysts, business team members and technical team. Candidates must have work experience in dealing with senior member of the business units (within the organization) and product owners that require excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Candidates must be comfortable working in a global project team set up with team members located in other parts of the world (different time zones, work cycles and work cultures)
•Candidates must be able to work in a dynamic and fast pace project cycle.
•Candidates are expected to be able to work independently with minimal supervision or work with the assigned team to elicit, analyze and produce requirements artifacts.
oCandidates must be able to articulate verbally & written in clarifying the requirements to the technical and testing team about the requirements.
•Although the primary location of work is in Chicago, candidates may be required to travel to team site from time to time in the Atlanta area.
