Overview

The role of the Part Time Data Supervisor is to complete the electronic package data (EPD) correction process prior to the start of the preload operation.  This process improves the performance of the Scan, Print and Apply (SPA) activity.  Additional responsibilities include Monitoring and Reporting (M&R) website report generation, system testing, package research and resolution, Address Management System (AMS) updates and previous day’s missed on road package analysis.  The part time data supervisor reports directly to the package dispatch supervisor.

 Responsibilities

  1. Monitoring and Reporting web site
  2. Data correction process
  3. Analyze Exception Capture Report (ECS)
  4. Previous day’s missed package analysis
  5. Address Management System (AMS) updates

Responsibilities / Details

  1. Monitoring and Reporting web site 
  • Print the origin key entry employee detail report
  • Print the sort summary report
  • Verify Electronic package date (EPD) movement has occurred
  • Print the SPA employee detail report
  • Print the data correction detail report

2.   Process data correction records 

  • Utilize F6 and F7 keys for potential AMS candidates
  • Use tools to find consignee information
  • DPS
  • ChoicePoint Address Lookup
  • Complete corrections by center and postal code          

3.  Analyze Exception Capture report

  • From PAS Toolbox previous day’s NIS/ECS report
  • Research each entry and determine disposition for all packages
  • Resolve all discrepancies utilizing PFT

4.  Research all previous day’s missed packages from DMS – Missed Package report

  • Ensure PAL’s are corrected prior to preload start time
  • Note any address information that should be added to AMS
  • Resolve all address issues, flips, etc.
  • Communicate DPS changes needed to PT Dispatch Supervisor

 5. Address Management System updates 

    •  Utilize AMS candidates from
    • Data Management Analysis Tool (DMAT)
    • Data corrections
    • E2DC
    • Make necessary updates to AMS                                                               
    • Add Consignee Add Consignee alias Add Street alias Expand or reduce street ranges Validate all entries
