Sales Manager at Valley Hospitality - Full-time / Part-time

We have an immediate opening for a Sales Manager at Valley Hospitality.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

The ideal candidate should have 2+ years hospitality sales, must be highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; and professional organizational skills are required.

Must have the knowledge, skill and/or ability to meet the following requirements:

• Solicit and negotiate business with new and existing clients through daily prospecting, outside sales calls, e-communications, referrals and networking, in order to maximize room revenue to meet/exceed goals.
• Entertain new and existing clients both off site and on property to facilitate sales.
• Maintain "Daily Sales Call Schedule" in sales system, relating to telephone solicitations, activities and create a trace system.
• Develop, monitor and implement quarterly sales action plans.
• Participate in trade shows and industry events to maintain high visibility and achieve sales and revenue goals.
• Is flexible to handle all inquiries and market segments.
• Meet hotel administrative standards in: GRC, file and trace system, contracts, rate agreements, cancellation standards, deposit policies, and weekly activity reporting.
