The Global User Experience (GUX) team in Pitney Bowes seeks a Senior UX Designer for enterprise level modern web and mobile design. The UX Designer will coordinate and collaborate with fellow user experience team members and business, marketing, and product development team members on user tasks and scenarios, information and interaction design incorporating established visual design direction, wireframing and advanced Axure prototyping to conduct user validation and testing.
Key responsibilities:
Support UX Architect and UX lead in day to day UX activities and tasks
Create concepts for product backlog items with quick wireframes/sketches and facilitate design reviews
Prototype design in Axure 6.5 or 7 (Beta) for stakeholder review and customer validation and testing
Manage communication and delivery aspect of UX artifacts with Agile and Distributed Development teams

Qualification
Required Qualifications:
BS or MS Degree in either Design, IxD, Information Architecture, HCI or Visual Arts
5 to 7 years of solid work experience with job roles such as UX designer, Interaction designer or Visual designer
Web application design (Not websites) experience is a must
Must be able to review a portfolio of work - highlighting individual contribution
Understanding of how and when to move between high level macro design and detailed design is a must
3+ years of prototyping experience with Axure
Knowledge of leading best practices and design patterns is a must
Excellent communication and design pitch and critique skills
Proven ability to collaborate with remote teams is a must
Understanding of modern web technology stack - HTML, CSS, JavaScript Framework, Bootstrap, FontAwesome.
Preferred
Can write HTML & CSS or apply framework like Bootstrap and jQuery
Experience with Mobile Application Design
Love to write or edit UI copy/micro-copy
