Title: Business Systems Analyst

Reports to: Mgr. Supply Chain



POSITION SUMMARY

Analyzes business processes, functions, and procedures to determine the most effective business systems and software to meet the needs of the organization.



JOB RESPONSIBLITIES



? Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, material logistic control systems, repair management, and financial tracking systems.

? Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for technology developments.

? Partners with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.

? Maintains updated knowledge of e-commerce tools, computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow.

? Responsible for coordinating and working on specific projects with the Supply Chain Regulatory Compliance group, Supply Chain Support team, Supply Chain Logistics team and Business Process Systems team regarding lean and Kaizen programs which relate to operational improvements.

? Develop reports and track departmental control tower results.

? Keep workplace organized.


ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education:

Essential: High School Diploma

Desirable: B.A. Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.



Experience:

? Five or more years’ experience with information systems and business processes in SAP inventory and warehouse management environment.

? Proven experience with Visual Basic, SAP scripting, SharePoint, Cockpit, and advanced Microsoft Excel Office applications



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

? Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices in their work assignments which typically are complex in nature.

? Excellent communication skills, combined with a strong analytical/technical aptitude.

? Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.

? Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.

? Strong customer service orientation.

? Organized and detailed oriented.

? Knowledge of Six Sigma skills, Lean, Kaizen, process management, change management and advanced statistical techniques.

? Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical skills.

? Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirementsincluding, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
