Randstad is currently looking for reliable, outgoing individuals for an opening at our client in downtown Chicago. This well-known client publishes local deals for travel and entertainment online. This is a customer service position, but most of the communication with customer is done by email so the ideal candidate will have exceptional writing, grammar and spelling skills. This is a full time, INDEFINITE temporary opportunity with regular hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Primary responsibilities:
-Professionally and courteously handle inbound customer service emails and place outbound calls as required in compliance with client policies and procedures.
-Respond to customer questions within established service levels
-Resolve customer issues accurately and completely, striving for first contact resolution
-Record and verify accurate information in Back office; perform activities accurately in Back office
-Adhere to work schedule provided and maintain high level of punctuality
-Positively and respectfully communicate with customers and coworkers
-Maintain company and customer confidentiality
Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Qualified Candidates:
- must have excellent communication skills as well as good grammar and spelling.
- must be customer service oriented
- must be comfortable working on a computer with basic email and database functions
- must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs
